I’m finding my way though this world one day at a time, one foot in front of the other. I’m a Jersey girl (but please don’t bring up the Jersey Shore) who’s now in her late 20′s and still living her college town and loving it mostly even though it feels a little small sometimes. I work with teenage girls which keeps me active on the 9-5 and then I find activities to keep myself active the rest of the time. I’m a runner (battling off and on with injuries) and a weight trainer in learning. I think exercise and nutrition are super interesting (I may or may not be a total nerd at heart) and am totally self taught in both areas. I think I’m doing okay teaching myself though as I’ve managed to get myself into the best shape of my life (though there’s still progress to be made), lost about 30 pounds so far on this journey and have gained a ton of energy and confidence. This blog is my own little narcissistic moment to get my thoughts out about running, fitness and life in general as well as to track my own personal goals.
